PREVENTION OF DIABETES

Listen well, take heed of care,

To live a life both bright and fair.

Diabetes waits for no man’s call,

But we can rise and prevent its fall.

Eat with wisdom, choose with grace,

Let wholesome foods find their place.

Fruits and greens, grains of whole,

Feed your body, nourish your soul.

Move each day, don't stay still,

A simple walk can guard your will.

Stretch, dance, or jog a while,

Let exercise bring you a smile.

Watch the sugar, keep it light,

Balance portions, do what’s right.

Water first, stay clear of sweet,

For too much sugar spells defeat.

Stress is silent but don’t ignore,

Find your peace, let your spirit soar.

Rest and sleep, make time to heal,

Good health begins with how you feel.

With these habits, strong and true,

Diabetes won’t come to you.

A life of balance, choice, and care,

Will keep you healthy everywhere.
